My name is David Bathe and after more than 35 years producing commercial art for the advertising and graphic design industry, I’ve decided to focus my talent on something truly beautiful; capturing examples of magnificent aeronautical engineering in macro details.
This is time consuming work and an endeavour that needs your support, either by buying a poster file, commissioning a piece or by making a contribution to fund individual projects.

I’ve made a highly detailed study of an antique propeller once fitted to a Sopwith Camel and plotted the findings onto two illustrations. You’ll get two files, a 700x500 poster and a highly detailed plan that can be scaled up to full size for only €12. The money raised will go towards keeping the aircraft illustration projects ups and running. If you want something to hang on a wall, build a scale propeller or just want to have a documented historic record of a WW1 aviation artefact please support the project.
