Zutter Kutter Usage Instructions
Consumer Advisory: Pressure Bar
Excessive force on the pressure bar will cause
performance failure and/or malfunction to the point
that materials will not be fully cut as desired.

Pressure application on the bar should be slight - just
enough to hold the cutting material in place.
Over-tightening of the locking levers will result in
cutting failure on setting #4 as well as uneven cutting
performance on settings #1-3.
2. With the Pressure Bar Lock and Release levers (K) in the open position, slide the  board onto the cutting platform.
3. Using the Pressure Tension Adjustment Turn Knob (L), adjust so that the Pressure Bar (P) is lightly resting on the board. NOTE:  If
the Pressure Bar (P) is set too tight it will warp your board and not cut properly.  This could damage the cutting blade.

4. Lock both Pressure Bar Locking Levers (K). Note: Material being cut/Board should NOT be able to move after this step.

5. Make sure (C) Blade Depth Setting Knob is in position 1 (ONE), using the blade depth indicator.

6. Placing the machine such that the stabilizer knob is away from your body and the cutting material resting point is facing your body,
place one hand on (A) the Stabilizer Knob and the other hand on (D) the Blade Carriage Traveling Handle in preparation to slide the
cutting carriage towards you.
7. Press firmly down on (D) Blade Carriage Traveling Handle to lower blade and slide carriage from point A to point B all the way down
the Cutting Carriage Traveling Bars (E) towards the cutting material resting point.

8. Once you have reached point B, release Blade Carriage Traveling Handle (D) and slide it back to starting point A. Note: If handle is
not released properly to the upright position it will be difficult to slide the Blade Carriage Traveling Handle (D) back to point A.
9. Repeat steps 6-8 this time with the Blade Depth Setting Knob (C) in position 2.
10.Repeat steps 6-8 this time with the Blade Depth Setting Knob (C) in position 3.
11. Repeat steps 6-8 this time with the Blade Depth Setting Knob in (C) position 4.   Note: On final position, blade will cut into Cutting
Platform (N).  This is normal and ensures cut goes all the way through.
12. After cut is complete with Blade Depth Setting Knob (C) in position 4, slide handle  back to starting point A.
13. Release both Pressure Bar Locks (K), and remove your perfectly cut project.
Scoring
Not only does the Zutter Kutter make it simple and easy to cut through very
thick materials, but also has a unique and highly accurate scoring capability.
With each blade adjustment setting allowing the blade deeper each time,
you are in total control.  No more guessing or accidentally cutting all the way
through.  Do it once, do it precise.

Blade Replacement
instructions
Zutter Kutter comes with the following parts:

1.   An Allen wrench  - Utilized in replacing the blade.

2.  Pink plastic tube sleeve - This must be installed on the stabilizer knob
screw shaft (it will cover the screw shaft, making it pretty and pink).

3.   2 small black plastic bushings - These are only to be used as
replacements of the currently installed bushings on the pressure bar lock
and release levers. The factory-installed bushings should last for years,
but should they wear out or break you will then utilize these replacements.
