Discipleship Training School (DTS)
WHAT IS DTS?
Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a mission training school through Youth With A Mission. The school lasts for six months and can change your life forever! During these months, you will receive tools to get to know God better and opportunities to make Him known in Norway and in the nations.
PURPOSE
By taking a DTS, you will be equipped to be a missionary wherever you are. You will get to know yourself better, discover your passions, and see how everything you have fits into God's plan and kingdom. You will get to know students from all over the world and gain new perspectives and insights through teaching, conversations, and experiences with other students.
STRUCTURE
All DTSs in Norway have mostly the same framework and content. The schools start with a teaching phase that lasts for at least twelve weeks. During these weeks, different teachers from around the world come, each week teaching a new topic. After twelve weeks of teaching, there is a mission trip, which we call outreach, to other countries. Outreach usually lasts for eight to ten weeks.
