You’re invited to celebrate the reception of our wedding at St Michael Parish in Waialua, HI on the island of Oahu on
Sunday, July 7th, 2024
2:00 - 6:00 pm.
We were married in November 2023 at an intimate ceremony, but elected to hold the reception in July when more of our friends and family can attend. The reception will begin at 2:00 pm with lunch and drinks, and continue to 6:00 pm.
About the venue
Our reception will be held at St Michael Parish in Waialua. Founded in 1853, St Michael Parish is the first Roman Catholic Church built in the North Shore area. Today, the small, quaint church continues to serve North Shore’s multicultural Catholic community, providing services to several hundred families in its congregation. Through challenges and relocations, including a fire that destroyed the church in 1923, St Michael’s resilient spirit prevails, fostering communal worship and stewardship among a diverse congregation.
Dress code
Located against the backdrop of Mt. Ka’ala, the church is situated in a modest, rural setting. You may want to wear comfortable sandals or walking shoes in lieu of more formal dress shoes or heels. Temperatures can reach up to the mid 80s in July, so please wear something you will be comfortable in.

Please RSVP on or before April 1st, 2024. We appreciate your help in providing us with a head count by April 1st so we can make the necessary preparations for this celebration.
Traveling to Hawaii
The only gift we ask for is your presence, but we understand if time and circumstances do not allow a trip at this time.
If you’ve ever traveled to Hawaii, you know accommodations range from the pricey and luxurious to the more modest and economical. Waikiki offers all the glitter and glitz of a big city, while Haleiwa on the North Shore is a more rural, relaxed surfers haven. Whatever your choice, we recommend booking soon, as popular places sell out early.
