Dear fans and friends
I hope you are all safe and well.
I've been entertaining people for over 35 years.
As a job and a way of life, it's all I know!
With the world as it is today, I am now having to 'move with the times' and 'go digital', as they say.
Almost four decades of being on the road, travelling around the world, performing everywhere from large festivals and regular live venues, through to private weddings and large functions for royalty, sharing decades of friendship with my dear musician buddies, memorable times with many rock legends such as Jeff Beck, Bill Wyman, Mick Fleetwood and Robert Plant, and more importantly, giving pleasure to thousands of people, each and every year.
I am now having to re-think and re-organize my business in such a way, so that I can continue entertaining all the many fans that I have made over the years and continue making new ones too.
This month I launch my new Patreon which will do just that.

This 'lock down' has given me the opportunity to dig out a whole life of forgotten memorabilia, photos, records, old cassettes and CDs. There is so much that I would love to share with you, that I know you would enjoy.
From my crazy life of music, all my influences and my great memories, on stage and off stage and the honour of meeting some of the greatest names in the business.

Join me as I go through my vinyl collection of rock'n'roll, rhythm & blues, rockabilly, piano boogie woogie and a world of blues, soul and jazz, including a fortnightly one hour radio show titled 'The Sanch Shack' where I'll be sharing my passion for all my favorite genres of music.

I'll also be reading you my authorized biography 'Big Town Playboy' by Michael Madden, which will be available as an mp3 download, one chapter a week, plus bloopers.

Of course, you will also get full gigs, from me, the crazy man, singing and playing piano, direct from my home into yours. :-)

Hello and welcome!

It's now 2020 and I'm so grateful that after 37 years I am still able to live this life playing music I love and making so many people happy.
I thank you all so much for your continued support.

My brand new album release:
MIKE SANCHEZ - 12 ORIGINAL SCORCHERS
Is now available on CD and downloadable from my bandcamp

Early in 2018 we mastered and edited a selection of previously recorded original tracks for this new album which I personally feel is my finest album yet. It was available to download a few weeks ago and now we have the CD ready for you. Later in the coming weeks I will also release it on 12" vinyl album.
​
It means a lot to me as you can imagine, as it's my first compilation of totally original material.
​
Regarding other recordings: During November 2018 I was invited to record a 4 track EP in Madrid with The Limboos for the new Hot45 label recently launched by my good buddy and Spanish TV host/presenter Iñaki Lopez (La Sexta Noche).

The compelling story of one of the foremost exponents of authentic rhythm & blues and rock n roll in the world today. Michael Madden has been given full access to a vast archive of material charting Mike Sanchez's journey from his Spanish roots through an eventful 35 year musical career that has seen him progress through the ranks of the Rockets, the Big Town Playboys and Bill Wymans Rhythm Kings to fronting his own band and performing with some of the biggest names of the rock world including Robert Plant, Eric Clapton, Mick Fleetwood and Jeff Beck.
The text is illuminated with comments from many friends, fans and fellow musicians & entertainers, and generously illustrated with many rare and previously unseen photographs.
Mike and Sarah's son Louie Ray has been warned by police for pick pocketing guests at Mike's concerts!
Louie Ray who recently celebrated his 7th birthday has somehow made a habit of searching through music fans hand bags at his fathers concerts over the last four years. So far investigators have discovered £1788.00 and 1540 euros in cash under the child's mattress at his families home in Spain.
His confused parents have told police they are astonished by their cheeky little son's naughty habits!
Louie has also been found to enjoy reaching up womens skirts when they are not aware. This little devil has left his family flabergasted!
Mike told the BBC recently 'I'm so proud of my boy!'
