"A Swing Of Its Own"

New album available on Digital - CD - LP on September 29th

One of Norway's leading jazz singers teams up with Europe's most exciting swing band for a cinematic tour de force. For Hilde Louise Asbjørnsen, this project with the KABA Orchestra, one of Europe's most exciting swing bands, was by no means “business as usual”. Recorded live in 2020, the Norwegian singer presents a selection from her song catalog that “brings together all the inspiration from my years as a songwriter and jazz vocalist”.

These are not just “new versions” – but in a sense the actual originals.

A true jazz diva, with a sparkling combination of musicality and the precise art of acting, VG

PREVIOUSLY RELEASED - Movies & Stories Like This

Hilde Louise & Anders Aarum in duo format. A new album with just a grand piano and a microphone is being released on September 30th 2022. The album presents nine original songs about intangible love. The inspiration from Piaf, Brel and Weill is expressed through the atmosphere of the songs, which range from bolero, tango and French waltz to jazz ballads. In a concert, the duo would also include amusing, stripped down versions from Hilde Louise's repertoir.
