Martin Eckhoff Andresen receives 8 million Norwegian kroner for his project from the Research Council of Norway
Martin Eckhoff Andresen is a Tenure-track associate professor at the Department of Economics. His project "Behavioral Adjustments, Income Volatility and Attention to the Tax and Benefits Schedule" starts with the observations that the empirical literature investigating how individuals respond to incentives in the tax systems tend to fund surprisingly small labor supply responses. The aim of his project is to explore why people do not adjust their workload according to incentives in the tax and welfare systems, as one might expect.
