Reidun Askeland
The concert pianist Reidun Askeland was born and raised in Bergen, Norway.
Since 1980 she has had an active career, both as soloist and chamber musician. She has won several national and international prizes, and made a number of recordings. She has performed in Europe, Asia and USA, and appeared frequently on TV and made numerous radio broadcasts.
Throughout her career, Reidun Askeland’s involvment in teaching includes working at the Norwegian Academy of Music and Barratt Dues Music Institute, both in Oslo, and Toneheim Music School in Hamar.
