Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Logo

For everyone who wants to play characters like dragons, I think it was a good idea to put some characteristics about them here. These information comes from The Council of WyrmsTM published by TSR and these files are intended to be given to the players in order for them to know a bit more about their characters and their race background.
It has come to my attention that the set is available as a download (pdf file) here. One inconveniant is that the map in the file is a bit unplayable in this format, so you may want to download the one on this page (same map but just one big picture instead of 8 small ones)

Note: I have embed TrueType fonts in all Word documents, so you do not need to bother about what fonts I have used when I wrote these files.

What is Role-Playing? (PDF v1.2) by Joe Norris
Note: A friend of mine send me this not long ago... This sum up very well what is Role-Playing.

The standard PC sheets Draft Character Sheet Bonded Hoard Sheet Unbonded Treasure Sheet Health Combat Modifier
    Health v2.4 (Word 2003) - (PDF v1.7), (c) Tempest
Note: This was created when I realise that PC with 1HP could acts exactly alike PC at full HP (ie no penalty on attack or on AC).
This file provides a solution to this problem and work well with characters who has a relatively large amount of maximum HP.
Dragon Magical Items Dragon Spells Dragon Deities
  • The complete Map of the Io's Blood Island Chain.
This map includes the location of all 88 dragon's clans and the Council Aerie.
This is definitively a "must-have" for persons who do not want to damage the map include in the boxed-set and for players who wish to have a better understanding of the world they are playing in.

  • The Complete Unofficial Half-Dragon's Handbook
Note: Despite that this handbook is in Final version, there is still work to do.
    Thanks you for your patience.
Current version is 1.6.7-Pre3 (last update 2023/01/02)

    THE OTHER DRAGON TYPES

These types of dragons are NOT include in the boxed set. The Dungeons Master is recommended to fill the blanks in these sheets by using standard dragons as reference points.

Addendum: Actually, except for the brown, deep and the pseudodragon, the rest of them were described in The Western Wyrms found in Dragon Magazine #263. The character sheets were updated to reflect the information available. I recommend to look for appropriate habitats for these dragons and either add clans or change the race of a few existing ones so they can be played like the other "standard" dragon races (if you want them to be involved with The Council). Alternatively, you can simply assume that they come from unspecified locations that aren't on the displayed on the official map and have their own history and goals for having travelled to the Io's Blood Island Chain.
