- If you missed yesterday's live broadcast of this French TV special, you can watch the full program at your leisure below.  Cécile de Ménibus of Direct8 goes behind the scenes at the 2010 Tour de France.  Tour organizer A.S.O. and France TV gave her full access.  She shows you the Tour from the race director's car, from the publicity caravan, backstage with the podium girls, at breakfast with the Cofidis team, from inside the French TV director's truck supplying the images worldwide.  She talks to Tour photographers, journalists for L'Equipe and even an Italian journalist who still uses a typewriter and misses the 1960s when journalists had better access to the riders.  This program is 1 hour and 30 minutes in duration.  Very well done.  Note that the French audiovisual authority CSA required Direct8 to mirror-image the entire broadcast to obscure sponsor logos.  Sample screenshots are below the video window.
